Social Media Manager (Paid Internship)

About Us:

BCS GOLD is the South Bay’s premier youth flag football club, dedicated to elite player development, competitive tournament play, and a first-class experience for athletes and families. We are looking for a motivated Social Media Manager to help tell our story.

​

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a creative, energetic Social Media Manager to join us for the 2025/26 season. This is a paid internship ideal for a high school or college student passionate about sports, content creation, and community building. The Social Media Manager will attend practices and tournaments, capture content, and manage our social media presence with support from the BCS team.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Attend BCS GOLD practices, tournaments, and events

·   Capture photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content

·   Create engaging posts, reels, and stories for Instagram and other platforms

·   Monitor engagement and interact with followers

·   Work closely with club leadership to plan and execute content strategy

·   Represent the BCS GOLD brand professionally on all platforms

Who You Are:

·   Creative, self-starter, and social media savvy

·   Strong communicator with a good eye for content

·   Comfortable working independently and in fast-paced environments

·   Available to attend most practices (weekday evenings) and tournaments (weekends)

·   Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, or video editing apps a plus

·   Interest in sports or youth athletics is a bonus

Details:

·   Paid hourly (rate based on experience)

·   Flexible schedule aligned with BCS GOLD events

·   Internship runs September 2025 through June 2026 with potential to extend
